In this course, participants will learn the best annual and perennial plants to use in our local landscapes. “The Right Plant in the Right Place” is a mantra one should always follow in gardening, and this course will focus on the very best selections for our area. Soil preparation, fertilization, mulching, and pest control will be covered, as they too are important in making the proper selections for each garden. Creating a beautiful, colorful, low maintenance garden is possible if the proper plants are chosen. This class provides the latest information on the best plants to use in our area.
