Instructor: Tina Bedwell

In this class, you will decorate an object (bottle, jar, box, canister, clay pot – anything with a smooth surface) using faux media to produce a charming decorative piece to give as a gift or cherish for yourself! You will learn some new techniques using raised molds and decoupage incorporating any number of fun materials – glazes, crackle, transfers, gilding waxes and unusual papers. Sealing the object is the final process.

Enjoy the company of a small group of your LearningQUEST friends as you let your imagination run free in a setting that is inspired by all things vintage. Best of all, you will leave the studio with a one-of-a-kind creation.

Required: a wine bottle, jar, box, canister, clay pot, or other vessel with a smooth surface to decorate.

Fee: $25 for instruction and materials, payable to instructor on day of class.
