Draw For Fun

March 25, 2019 @ 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm

Instructor: Lori Connors

Members will learn the basics of line, shadow, color, and contrast. Seasoned sketchers can use this time to draw, undisturbed by the various outside demands and distractions that often keep adults from creating art. In this four-week class, you will learn (or get a refresher on) how to:

  • effectively work with line to create imagery
  • use light and shadow to create a dynamic illusion of 3-D
  • work with still life and develop an understanding of composition, layout, and textures
  • work with color media, such as pencils, markers, and pastels (if time permits)

A $25 supply fee covers the cost of a basic drawing set and ample paper, as well as use of color media (markers, pencils, pastels). The class coordinator will provide instructions for fee payment before the first day of class
