During this program, attendees will learn about and be exposed to a wide range of historic (Mozart-type) music on both the organ and piano as the entertaining and knowledgeable presenter shares his vast experience and talent on both musical instruments. Explanations
will include how this music can be interpreted for listening pleasure with a modern audience. The program will present many genres of music “roots,” music in liturgical settings, and piano music in secular settings with Southern esoteric traditions. T

he presenter will share with the participants methods that he uses to juxtapose and meld together different genres of music. The program will be an audience- friendly experience of listening to and learning about the different periods in keyboard music for both the organ and the piano. Each session of the class will consist of a period of education followed by the presenter’s demonstration, on either the organ or keyboard, of the theories presented that day. An entertaining and informative time for all is guaranteed!
