Back in 1992, the state christened the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail (RTJ), which today features 26 golf courses strategically located from the top of Alabama to the bottom. With courses linked together in a trail-like format, Alabama established a new trend in golf. Extremely popular with the public, these Alabama courses have totaled nearly 12 million rounds of golf in the first 25 years of the Golf Trail.

In this course, we will cover the history of the Trail, what’s “on tap,” great stays along the Trail, and unique characteristics of each site along the Trail.
