Beer dates to at least the third century BC with the Egyptians, Babylonians and Sumerians malting barley and wheat to make beer. These techniques for brewing moved throughout the Middle East and Europe resulting in a wide selection of types of beers. Join us as we explore the different flavors when we combine beer with a range of dishes. Menu: Irish Beer Cheese Soup, Beer Bread, Braised Sirloin Tips with Mushroom Sauce, Ale Mashers, and Chocolate Stout Cake. In this class, Chef CC will provide recipe packs and demonstrate how to make each of these dishes. Samples of each dish will be served – you are guaranteed to not leave the class hungry! Fee: $50 to be paid to the coordinator prior to the first class to assure a reservation in this program. See Policy on page viii of this catalog.
