Jan 23—Wildlife of Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands The incredible diversity of wildlife found in the Galapagos makes this group of islands off the coast of Ecuador special. Avid traveler Tom Ress visited the Galapagos this year and will provide a photographic journey through the islands, with a vivid look at the wildlife of the islands.  Jan 30—Cruising the Erie Canal On a Houseboat – Enjoy learning about the charming towns along the scenic Erie Canal as Bob and Liz Stagg describe their recent houseboating adventure with friends. After picking up their well-equipped boat in Macedon, NY, the two couples set both their own pace and route as they cruised for 10 days of peaceful mornings, scenic views, and excellent meals. The presenters will explain why this kind of adventure is available to anyone, regardless of previous boating experience.Feb 13—San Miguel de Allende, World Heritage site Julia Gary will share a visit to San Miguel de Allende, 170 miles NW of Mexico City. With a population of 140,000, the city has been home to 8,000 American ex pats since the 1940’s. Hilly streets of cobblestone, buildings of colonial architecture, multiple art galleries, and the permeating sounds of mariachi music provide a feast for the eyes and ears. Feb 6—Paris, Normandy Beaches, and Loire Valley Mary Ann Stasiak will share her 2022 trip to France, which included one week in Paris with several food tours, a cooking class, guided tours inside the Louvre, the Musee d’Orsay, and The Orangerie Museum, a river cruise to Normandy beaches including Monet’s home and garden at Giverny, and an extension tour of the Loire Valley including Chartres Cathedral, Chenonceau Chateau, and Chambord Chateau. Feb 20—Winter in the New Zealand Alps  Join photographers Emily Saile and Barbara Staggs in flying over the snowy mountains of New Zealand in helicopters, landing on glaciers, taking a boat ride to view the waterfalls of Milford Sound, and exploring the beautiful lakes and rain forests of the South Island.
