Main streets and dark alleys of our historic downtown Huntsville yield true tales of our fascinating past, from the ghosts in an iconic 1835 building to a Union soldier hiding from Johnny Reb. Residual hauntings of past murders play themselves over again like a staccato movie reel, and the ghost of Governor Bibb’s son-in-law does not want his secrets revealed. Ghosts inside a prominent building walk up a staircase and disappear through a wall.

This tour requires less than one mile of leisurely walking and will last 1.5 to 2 hours. There are no places to sit down along the way. Join us on Tuesday, October 6 (rain date, October 13) at 5:30 p.m. as we walk the haunted streets of Huntsville to hear about our haunted past. If a location is haunted, you want to know why…and who. The tour begins in front of Harrison Brothers Hardware Store, 124 Southside Square.
