The popularity of succulents is on the rise within the gardening world today. Students in this workshop will create their own succulent planter while simultaneously learning the basics of establishing and working with a variety of succulents. Soil composition, container selection, watering and maintenance requirements will be addressed. In addition, participants will learn the technique of propagating succulents from succulent leaves. At the end of the workshop, participants will have planted three succulents in a decorative planter which they can take home and proudly display. Fee: $25 for materials to be paid to the coordinator prior to the first class to assure a reservation in this program. See Policy on page viii of this catalog.
