63-Bone Health

December 15 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

This three-part workshop addresses bone loss, a health crisis that millions of adults face. While bone loss is a normal part of aging after age 30, many experience more loss than normal, becoming osteoporotic. There are multiple causes for accelerated bone loss including medications (prescription and over-the-counter), consumption of soda and alcohol, smoking, inadequate absorption of nutrients, certain medical conditions, and much more. Bone loss is critical because hip fractures significantly increase the risk of losing independence and may even lead to death. Unfortunately, bone density medications carry risk and potential side effects. This workshop will help attendees identify potential risk factors and discover natural ways to protect their bones. It is possible with these approaches to slow, stop, and even reverse bone loss. Max: 36
