29-Friday Film Festival
December 11 @ 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm
The Friday Film Festival dives into classic film noir with four stories about love gone wrong. Desire leads to murder in each of our bad romances, starting with Robert Siodmak’s The Suspect (1944), starring Charles Laughton and Ella Raines. Next up, Fritz Lang directs Edward G. Robinson and Joan Bennett in Scarlet Street (1945), followed by real-life couple Orson Welles and Rita Hayworth in Welles’ deliriously atmospheric noir, The Lady from Shanghai (1947). We’ll round out our deadly dates with Lewis Allen’s aptly titled, So Evil My Love (1948), starring Ray Milland and Ann Todd.
