46-Organ & Tissue Donations

Legacy of Hope is Alabama’s Organ and Tissue Donation Alliance, dedicated to educating people about the life-saving and healing impact of organ and tissue donation. Participants will learn how one organ donor can save up to eight lives and heal or enhance the lives of more than 75 to 100 people through tissue donation. The program shares powerful stories of donors, recipients, and families whose lives have been forever changed by donation. In addition, this presentation addresses common questions and misconceptions about organ and tissue donation, providing clear, accurate information. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of the donation process, the importance of donor registration, and how each individual has the potential to leave a lasting legacy of hope through donation.
