51-Coming to America

Hear the personal stories of immigrants to the United States who came to Huntsville as children. These children, now grown, were formerly students in Wanda Shoultes’ English as a Second Language class. They will share their experiences immigrating to the U.S. as children and entering Huntsville City Schools with limited or no English language skills. The students will discuss their country of origin, how and why they came here, and what they are doing now in their life and work.
