44-You Be The Judge

Court is back in session! Step into the jury box with new cases to review and decide. Participants will be presented with several real life court cases. After discussing the facts and law, the class will determine a proper verdict. The actual court’s decision will then be announced. Many different kinds of cases will be presented such as free speech, freedom of religion, death penalty, personal injury, and libel cases. You don’t need a law degree to participate, just a willingness to look at the issues from different points of view.
