Designed for students who have some introduction to French, this course concentrates on language for enjoying travel and tourism in French-speaking areas. In addition to oral practice, students will engage in presenting scenarios to the rest of the class and, in turn, interpreting the scenarios of other participants. Some highlights will include finding and using transportation, accommodation, and meals, plus reading road signs, getting directions, and finding medical help. Of course, shopping trips will be covered. As always, the atmosphere will be nonjudgmental and encouraging, with a heavy emphasis on having fun while learning.
