Interfaith Pilgrimage

April 18, 2018 @ 9:30 am – 11:30 am
Downtown Library, Auditorium

Instructors: Jane Davis and others

Huntsville is home to a diverse population consisting of people of different faiths. This provides us an excellent opportunity to learn about our neighbors’ belief systems and worship practices. This five-week series will begin with an informative power point presentation by Jane Davis at the Library auditorium. The next three classes will be on the road, visiting three places of worship: the Huntsville Islamic Center, Temple B’nai Sholom (Jewish), and the Hindu Culture Center of North Alabama. Each visit will provide hands-on experience of the distinct prayer and worship practices of each faith, followed by a Q & A session. The course will conclude back at the Library auditorium with a wrap-up interfaith panel discussion and Q & A session featuring representatives of various faiths.
