The material presented is intended for advanced beginners and intermediate level players. The course will present solutions to common situations that cause problems for many players. The “law of total tricks” is introduced for both offensive and defensive play; as is doubling for both offense and defensive play: the short club opening; and the play of the hand. The reason for the Stayman convention will be discussed and a detailed flow chart presented.
