This one-session ONLINE course will examine the variety in the English language. Standard English, colloquial language, regionalism, and idioms will serve as examples and allow participants to share their own  language experiences. Designed partly as the completion of last semester’s interrupted course on language change, this session is open to anyone interested. Dr. Fredericksen has a PhD in rhetoric, but she knows she will learn as much as she teaches when LearningQUEST members gather together.
