This class investigates the changing face of retirement in the 21st Century, and will consider why growing old in America is not what it used to be, why to expect a health care “train wreck,” and how to best prepare for it. Participants will learn about Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) and ways of maximizing Social Security payments. The instructor will present steps individuals can take to preserve and protect what they have earned and will explain how to prepare for market volatility. The class will help individuals plan for the five key financial challenges of retirement.
