Revolutionary War Rarities focuses on rarely known, rarely taught topics, people, and stories around the American Revolution. The course will include the oldest-known soldier as well as the youngest participant of the American Revolution, a dog named Sweet Lips, the penman of the Declaration of Independence, American Revolution scandals, the origin of current-day sayings traced back to the American Revolution, little-known monuments and places, ages of the Founding Fathers, the contents of their backpacks, and averages such as income, number of baths taken per year, speed of travel, distances traveled, etc. The focus is on things most people do not know about the Revolution.
