This walking tour offers a unique look at the Twickenham Historic District. Located south and east of the Courthouse Square, most of the properties in Twickenham are private residences, although the district also features churches, commercial buildings and more. Listed to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, the Twickenham neighborhood dates to the antebellum era and is known as a “living museum of architecture.” Bring only what you can carry comfortably (water, sunscreen, light snacks) and wear comfortable shoes.
