In Alabama, we proudly affirm our state motto: We Dare Defend Our Rights!  What are our rights as patients in this state and in this country? The American Medical Association weighed in on the subject years ago with a general statement about patient rights that covers such things as access to care, patient dignity, confidentiality, and consent to treatment. In this two-session course, participants will learn more about these rights and a veritable cornucopia of other protections and enhancements for patients today and in the future.
