The cranes are coming, and the perfect place to witness this amazing arrival is at the Wheeler Wildlife Refuge in January. There will be an introductory lecture at the Visitors Center and then a short walk to the heated Observation Building with benches providing excellent viewing of the cranes. Visiting Wheeler when the cranes are so active remains a special treat. Tom Ress is a long-time volunteer instructor with extreme knowledge and a delightful personality. The coordinator will provide driving directions to registered members.
